BAGUIO CITY — Short-term foreign investments turned positive last year, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported late Friday, reversing to a net inflow of $2.1 billion from 2023's net outflow of $248.84 million.
Total outflows amounted to $15.83 billion, a 20.5-percent increase from the previous year's $13.13 billion, and inflows were also higher at $17.93 billion, or 39.2 percent, compared to the year-earlier $12.89 billion.
