THE Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) successfully conducted the formal granting of livelihood opportunities to selected beneficiaries from the San Mateo Federation of Persons with Disability Inc. last Jan. 14, 2025. The activity provided beneficiaries with the opportunity to start their businesses and improve their livelihood with the assistance of the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) Calabarzon.
The event was led by the PCUP Office of the Chairperson - Special Concerns Unit head of Livelihood Rosemarie Makimkim and attended by PCUP Commissioner Andre Niccolo Tayag. The beneficiaries received sewing machines and other equipment to help them start and grow their business.
