(UPDATE) A WEEK before the start of the campaign period for the 2025 midterm elections, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed confidence that the administration-backed candidates will win all 12 senatorial seats up for grabs.
In a speech during the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) Leaders' Convergence Summit in Manila on Friday, Marcos said his own political party had the "best candidates" and the "strongest party" in the midterm elections.
