CITICORE Energy REIT Corp. (CREIT), the real estate investment arm of Saavedra-led renewable energy (RE) firm Citicore Renewable Energy Corp. (CREC), is poised to proceed in June-July 2025 with the construction of two solar-power projects.

In its three-year investment plan, CREIT said CREC expects to receive a notice to proceed for two solar expansion projects, Negros 1 and Cebu 1. These will be developed by CREC subsidiary Citicore Solar Energy Corp., which will have a gross installed capacity of 36 megawatts (MW) and 88 MW, respectively.
