MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines government, through its Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), will continue to strive for a peaceful and diplomatic resolution to its maritime dispute with China in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

During Friday's Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon TV program, which aired on PTV4, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo stressed that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s instruction to them has not changed regarding the sea dispute, which he described as the primary security concern challenge in the region.
