THE Quezon City government said that the Calorie Labeling Ordinance enacted by the city council in 2024 would take effect on Dec. 20 this year.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said on Thursday that she has signed the implementing rules and regulations for the ordinance that would require restaurants in the city to display the calorie count of food in their menus.
