SY family-led BDO Unibank Inc.'s first Asean Sustainability Bond (ASB), issued in January 2022 and which raised P52.7 billion, financed 37 projects under the green and social eligible categories of the bank's sustainable Finance Framework.
In its second Asean Sustainability Bond Impact Report, BDO said that it allocated P38.4 billion for 23 environmental projects aimed at mitigating climate change and promoting renewable energy and P14.4 billion for 14 social projects.
