ON Tuesday, I talked about the joys of traveling, or was it travelling? Check out yesterday's bit to find out. Meanwhile, today I'd like to talk about the things you should not forget to bring. Are you taking notes? Cause you should. In no particular order, first on the list is an ample amount of clothes; you might want to bring an extra piece of everything in case of emergency unless going commando is something that picks your fancy. To say something 'picks your fancy' is an idiom that simply means something interests you. Next is, of course, your passport if you're traveling abroad, with valid visas as necessary. And along with these is at least one valid ID (not a graduation picture, please) to ensure a smooth and hassle-free immigration experience. Now, the next items I would file under 'things that we tend to forget to bring on a travel that would have made it perfect,' so bring out your extra bright neon highlighter for emphasis. Music sets the mood for any occasion, and that includes a lazy afternoon under a tree while sipping iced coffee and watching the waves come in ripples to kiss the shore. And, of course, I'm describing myself as I write this. We're currently on a trip to the Province of Sarangani and it would have been perfect had I brought my portable speakers. Another thing I forgot to bring is, interestingly, cotton buds, which I thought would come in handy, especially after taking a dip in the beach. Oh boy! I can't wait to get my hands on one or three when I get home! Lastly, don't forget to bring mosquito repellant because the enemies are out there! Well then, safe travels!
