THE Quezon City Prosecutor's Office recommended the dismissal of the assault and grave coercion complaints filed by a police official against Vice President Sara Duterte and the head of her security detail.

In a resolution dated Jan. 17, 2025, a copy of which was obtained by The Manila Times, Assistant City Prosecutor Criscelyn Carayugan-Lugo junked the complaints filed by Quezon City Police District (QCPD) medical and dental unit chief Lt. Col. Jason Villamor against Duterte and Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group head Col. Raymund Dante Petina.
