THIRD-QUARTER economic growth remains unchanged at 5.2 percent despite upward revisions for some sectors, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Tuesday.

It said that growth rates were actually better for the education (4.1 percent from 2.6 percent), manufacturing (3.0 percent from 2.8 percent) and financial and insurance sectors (9.1 percent from 8.8 percent), but these were not enough to affect the overall gross domestic product (GDP) expansion.
