Marina aligns efforts with maritime safety goals

THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) has unveiled its Maritime Safety Plan (MSP) 2025 to strengthen safety standards in domestic shipping operations.

Aligned with the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) model regulations on ferry safety, MSP 2025 focuses on key goals, including promoting a strong safety culture, enhancing governance and improving occupational safety. It also incorporates advanced navigation systems, radio communication and casualty investigation practices to create a robust safety framework.
