HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) has developed a vacuum insulation system for large-scale liquid hydrogen transport and storage.

This technology maintains a vacuum state at –253 Celsius, improving hydrogen shipping safety and reducing the time needed to create a vacuum in large tanks.
