TRAVELING. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Some people would argue that traveling is just a waste of time and money. But to them, I would always say, nay! Sure, it makes a dent in your savings and sometimes, if you're not careful, it even breaks the bank, but surely, traveling enriches the soul, which you can't put a price on. By the way, 'traveling' and 'travelling' are acceptable. The only difference is that 'traveling' is the preferred spelling in American English while British English leans toward 'travelling.' Anyway, traveling is a hobby I hope everyone would try and pick up. The whole experience of traveling is what I appreciate. There are things in each step that we learn and take with us, like the memories we make in each destination. It teaches you valuable lessons, skills and virtues that will help you navigate through life easier, like self-reliance, patience and social skills, to name a few. You learn to be self-reliant when it comes to packing your stuff, booking and ensuring you catch your flight and arranging your visas when necessary. You will learn that patience is truly a virtue each time you wait for your flight in crowded airports. And, of course, you exercise your social skills and might even learn a new phrase in a different language while traveling. The possibilities are endless! And I'm just scratching the surface here. So, where to next?
