IN an inspiring demonstration of community solidarity and international partnership, the Indian Women in Enterprise (I-WE) initiative, in collaboration with the Philippines Cancer Society and the Rotary Club of Makati Premier District, launched a monumental health campaign to provide free breast and cervical cancer screenings for women across Metro Manila and beyond.

The initiative, officially inaugurated on Dec. 1, 2024 by Vandana Jain, spouse of the Indian Ambassador, alongside local government officials from Parañaque's Moonwalk and Merville areas, has since reached over 1,000 women in key cities such as Rizal, Mandaluyong, Sucat, Quezon, Pasay, Marikina, Antipolo and Manila.
