VICE President Sara Duterte on Saturday paid homage to the 44 Special Action Force (SAF) commandos of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who were killed during Oplan Exodus, an anti-terror operation in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, a decade ago.
The 44 commandos died in a gun battle against members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters on Jan. 25, 2015, in Tukanalipao, Mamasapano, after a successful mission to neutralize terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir, alias Marwan.
