SheSecure supports Filipina entrepreneurs in gender-equitable growth

FILIPINA entrepreneurs now have an opportunity to grow their businesses while championing gender equality. The SheSecure funding program was launched by ARQ SME Business Development Company (ARQ SME BDC) in collaboration with the Australian government's Investing in Women initiative, financing up to P30 million per enterprise. By linking incentives to progress on gender equity, this initiative will allow women-owned enterprises to grow operations and promote inclusive growth.

Businesses eligible for SheSecure financing must meet specific criteria: they must be over 50 percent women-owned or have at least 30 percent women in senior management roles. The business should have a minimum of P35 million in total assets or generate at least P50 million in annual run rate revenues. These eligibility requirements ensure that SheSecure focuses on businesses well-positioned for growth while fostering gender-inclusive leadership and practices.
