ZUS snaps its three-game losing skid by defeating Capital 1 in straight sets, 31-29, 25-15, 25-15 at the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Jan. 25. ZUS improved to 3-4 while Capital 1 is at 1-6. Chinnie Arroyo led the Thunderbelles with 15 points on 13 attacks, a block, and an ace, while also tallying 12 excellent digs.
