THE Tugon ng Masa survey conducted by OCTA Research showed half of Filipinos believe they are poor, while nearly two out of three said they have experienced involuntary hunger.

The independent poll, conducted from Nov. 10-16, 2024, said 50 percent of respondents, equivalent to an estimated 13.2 million Filipino families, considered themselves poor.
