TRADE Secretary Cristina Roque has urged fast fashion online retailer Shein to expand its presence in the Philippines by establishing manufacturing operations in the country.

Roque, who met with Shein executives on Thursday at the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, said: "Opening a manufacturing facility in the Philippines would create numerous jobs for Filipinos, given Shein's significant presence both locally and globally."
