MANILA, Philippines — Choco Mucho captured its third straight win after taking down PLDT in four sets, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-18, in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025.The Flying Titans relied on the high-flying Sisi Rondina's 20-point output and 10 excellent digs to secure the team's fifth win in eight games.Rondina was backed by Dindin Santiago-Manabat who netted 16 points even as Isa Molde and Chery Nunag chipped in 12 points apiece.'We offer this win to Kat [Tolentino], and we hope she recovers. We have a good defense in the second set and there is more tempo, and as you can see we adjusted in the remaining frames, we grabbed every opportunity earlier,' Choco Mucho head coach Dante Alinsunurin said after the game.Choco Mucho's winger Tolentino is in recovery after a ruptured appendix.PLDT's Savi Davison's poured in 27 points to lead the team. PLDT fell to a 4-3 card.
