SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has noted a minimal 4.8-percent increase in workforce in 2024 which saw an employment of 164,400 workers.
SBMA Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose Aliño attributed the increase in the workforce to the number of orders in the manufacturing sector that drove the workforce. The workforce in 2023 was 156,811.
