Marcos wants to read first anti-teen pregnancy substitute bill

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday said he has to first read the substitute measure to the controversial Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Act of 2023 before he reconsiders the proposal.

This, after Sen. Risa Hontiveros bared the filing of a substitute bill after the removal of the provision on international standards for comprehensive sex education.
