The World Economic Forum opens in the Swiss resort of Davos. Founded in 1971, it brings together hundreds of participants every year, including business leaders and politicians. Kicking off on the same day as US President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, the new administration in Washington will be high on the agenda.
