(UPDATE) ABOUT 130 traders and vendors in Valenzuela have been ordered to pay a fine of P5,000 each for using defective and "non-compliant" weighing scales.
During surprise public market inspections that began early last week, Valenzuela authorities seized and destroyed defective weighing scales. Vendors using them were fined P5,000 as punishment for first offense.
