(UPDATE) THE mayoral race in the country's capital city remains wide open, signaling a high-stakes contest among the three aspirants as election day draws closer, according to an independent, non-commissioned survey.

A survey conducted by the HKPH Public Opinion and Research, in collaboration with the Hong Kong-based Asia Research Center, showed that former Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso currently leads the race with a 46-percent voter preference, followed by incumbent Mayor Sheilah Lacuna with 31 percent, and Tutok To Win Party-list Rep. Samuel Verzosa Jr. with 15 percent.
