GEA-5 bids for OSW projects start July 25

THE 5th Round of the Green Energy Auction (GEA-5), which will screen bids from offshore wind (OSW) energy providers, will be conducted on July 25, the Department of Energy (DOE) said in a statement.

DOE Undersecretary Rowena Guevara in a message confirmed the date, noting that 'we have in fact announced this last December because some of the frontrunner OSW companies needed to assure their investors that this is definitely going to happen.'
