BAGUIO CITY — Mayor Benjamin Magalong said that there has been a 47-percent decrease in index crimes in the Summer Capital from 2019 (pre-pandemic) to 2023 and a 5-percent reduction as of Dec. 11, last year.
The mayor announced this during a media forum on Dec. 11, 2024 at the Baguio Convention and Cultural Center as part of his year-end city situation report.
