NOT just undocumented aliens but also some H1B visa holders are quaking in their boots with the looming inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America.

The H1B visa was a route I could have taken after my graduate studies at Rutgers University in 2001. I was already teaching at Rutgers when 9/11 happened. Suddenly, all of us were asked to go home by a paranoid US government. Remember that the guys who slammed the commandeered United Airlines plane onto the Twin Towers were recent graduates of a US aviation school. Thus, all recent graduates became objects of suspicion.
