THE Philippines actively participated in the 15th session of the International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena) Assembly and related meetings held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from Jan. 11 to 13, 2025, with its delegation highlighting strategies and achievements in transitioning to renewable energy.
Led by Alfonso Ver, the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE and the Permanent Representative to Irena, members of the delegation underscored key accomplishments of the Philippine government's energy transition agenda.
