THE Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Friday that it is set to release a new administrative order that would reduce the timeline of drug registration, especially among imported drugs that have been approved by a stricter regulatory agency abroad.
During an interview at state-run PTV-4's "Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon," FDA Director-General Samuel Zacate said that they aim to revise Department of Health Administrative Order 67 series of 1989, which he said would effectively reduce the timeline of drug registration, especially among novel drugs that had been approved abroad.
