THE Agriculture department on Friday said that it had asked the Supreme Court to reconsider a decision allowing commercial fishing in municipal waters.
Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. was said to have made the announcement during a meeting with concerned groups such as Oceana Philippines, Magsasaka Partylist, Federation of Free Farmers, Philippine Movement for Climate Justice and the National Anti-Poverty Commission.
