A REPORT revealed a 36-percent decrease in the volume of marine waste and 42-percent reduction or almost half in the total weight of collected waste from 2023 to 2024.

EcoWaste Coalition, in partnership with De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, revealed the findings of the 2024 Marine Litter Monitoring Survey Report at a press conference in Quezon City on Jan. 15.
