SILANG, Cavite — Personnel from various law-enforcement agencies raided a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub in a resort in this town on Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of 29 foreigners, mostly Chinese.
The raid was conducted by elements of the PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) and Cavite Police at around 3:30 p.m. in a resort in Brgy. Lalaan 2nd, Silang, Cavite, after days of surveillance.
