MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Offshore Patrol Vessel, BRP Gabriela Silang, stepped into action as the BRP Teresa Magbanua underwent minor repairs in Bataan.
The PCG vessel confronted China Coast Guard (CCG) vessel 5901, dubbed 'The Monster,' as it lingered illegally within the Philippines' exclusive economic zone (EEZ) off the coast of Zambales.
