THE bill preventing teenage pregnancy has drawn mixed reactions in the Senate.

Sen. Joel Villanueva rejected Senate Bill (SB) 1979 or the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Bill, amid concerns that it is a "prelude" to abortion and requires mandatory sex education to kindergarten pupils.
