MANILA, Philippines — Eight out of 10 Filipinos continue to support the national government's efforts to assert and uphold its territorial claims in the West Philippine Sea, according to the fourth quarter survey of pollster OCTA Research.
In its "Tugon ng Masa" poll conducted from Nov. 10-16, 2024, 84 percent of adult Filipinos agree with the government's stand in asserting its maritime rights in the disputed area, while 15 percent say that they cannot say whether they agree or disagree with the government's efforts.
