INCENTIVES await farmers who will plant nutritious rice varieties, such as those with low-glycemic index, high zinc content, pigmented, and brown variant, the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) said in a statement.
The offer is being made through the Purok Kalusugan Program of the Department of Health (DOH).
