CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The shear line continues to bring rain in the province of Oriental Mindoro as several barangay (villages) here reported massive flooding on Monday.
In a text message to The Manila Times, Calapan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) head Dennis Escosora said that as of 7 a.m. of Jan. 13, 2025, there were 12 flooded villages in the city and some inner roads were impassable to light vehicles.
