TRABAHO Partylist raised concerns over reports that the Social Security System (SSS) failed to collect over P89.1 billion in premium contributions from 420,767 delinquent business and household employers as of 2023 year-end. This was revealed in a Commission on Audit report, sparking questions about the efficiency of the country's primary social security agency.

Trabaho Partylist spokesman Mitchell David Espiritu stressed that the uncollected funds could have provided critical support for millions of SSS members and pensioners relying on benefits during sickness, unemployment, or old age.
