APPROACHING its 30th year of creating magical experiences and lasting memories, Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the Philippines' first and only world-class theme park, received the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Champion Award for Tourism Enterprises from the Department of Tourism (DoT)-Calabarzon.
EK President and CEO Mario Mamon and Learning and Development Head Pauline Barreiro accepted the award during the Tourism Excellence Awards 2024 at Twin Lakes Hotel, Tagaytay City, on Dec. 3. "Through this program, we provide world-class, enchanting, educational, and entertainment experiences to guests of all ages, embodying Filipino service excellence," Mamon said.
As of 2024, 99 percent of EK's 800+ employees have completed FBSE training, with plans to extend it to partner agencies and tenants in 2025. EK has also been a longtime education partner, supporting Brigada Eskwela for 10 years and improving 11 classrooms in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
In 2024, EK received multiple recognitions, including Outstanding Achievement in Operations from the Laguna Stakeholders Business Forum; Esteemed Industry Partner from the Laguna Business Summit; Top Taxpayer honors from the BIR and Santa Rosa LGU; and Certifications as a Mother and Baby Friendly Establishment and an Autism-Friendly Working Environment.
"As we celebrate 30 magical years, we commit to embracing diversity and inclusivity for all guests," said EK COO Cynthia Mamon.
