SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Zambales Chapter and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) in Zambales signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) at Subic Bay Travelers Hotel recently to launch a collaborative campaign aimed at addressing child marriage in Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities across the province.
The partnership will spearhead an information, education and communication (IEC) campaign promoting awareness of Republic Act No. 11596, also known as the "Anti-Child Marriage Law."
