CEBU CITY — An 84-year-old widow is fighting for her life after her son-in-law allegedly doused her with gasoline and set her on fire at her home in Barangay Bolinawan, Carcar City, on Jan. 5.
The victim, Lolita Lico-an, suffered severe burns on head and body, and was initially brought to the Carcar City Hospital. Due to the extent of her injuries, she was later transferred to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City for further treatment.
