CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City — Forty-two New People's Army (NPA) rebels yielded to authorities and turned over 55 firearms on separate occasions in Bukidnon and Agusan del Sur, the military reported on Friday.
Lt. Col. Francisco Garello Jr., head of the Philippine Army's Division Public Affairs Office here, said that 37 rebels surrendered along with 51 firearms on Jan. 10, 2025, in Camp Osito D. Bahian, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
