THE Bases Conversion and Development (BCDA) in a statement cited inter-government efforts in the successful recovery of the Camp John Hay property in Baguio City — praising the whole process that caused no disruption to businesses, employees and guests in the popular tourism and commercial hub.
"It was a very successful undertaking despite the complicated nature of [regaining] control and possession of a 247-hectare property," BCDA Chairman Hilario Paredes said of the recovery, which was enforced upon the release on Jan. 3 of an order from Branch 6 of the Baguio Regional Trial Court (RTC).
