CAGAYAN State University (CSU) plans to build an electric vehicle (EV) development and production facility in the region through partnerships established with CHRG Electric Vehicle Technologies Inc., and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC). The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was formalized in December 2024 at the Golden Phoenix Hotel in Pasay City.
CSU Officer in Charge President Arthur Ibañez said that the partnership will also create cutting-edge technologies developed by the university's Electromobility Research and Development Center.
