TOKYO — Japan experienced in the last week of December its biggest influenza outbreak since comparable data became available 25 years ago, the East Asian country's health authorities said on Thursday.
The latest Health Ministry analysis of data gathered from 5,000 clinics showed that from Dec. 23 to 29, 317,812 people were diagnosed with the flu.
