MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or "amihan" will continue to bring colder nights and mornings over Metro Manila and Central and Northern Luzon, the state weather bureau said on Friday.

Weather specialist Cheney Dominguez, of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said in a 5 a.m. briefing that the country would remain storm-free over the next few days.
