There are 10 movies in this year's MMFF. Some aficionados were able to see and support all. Due to a schedule that kept me homebound, I was able to catch one, "Green Bones." I chose it because it had good buzz and a 96-minute run time.

"Green Bones" is a great exercise in tight, effective storytelling. It knew exactly where it was going and how to get there. Every scene and image meant something important.
