LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The chief organizer of the 2024 Paris Games, Tony Estanguet, is set to return to the Olympic movement as a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the body announced on Tuesday.

The nomination of Frenchman Estanguet, 46, was approved by a vote by correspondence, the IOC said.
