CEBU CITY — The Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) in Daanbantayan town in northern Cebu has urged the Office of the Ombudsman to investigate the implementation of the Ayuda sa Kapos at Kita Program (AKAP) in the town's 20 barangay (villages) for potential irregularities.
In a resolution passed on Dec. 2, 2024, the LNB accused the implementing team of the AKAP program of being political organizers from the office of 4th District Rep. Janice Salimbangon.
